What’s happening at Pre79 Aircooled:
If your Volkswagen or Porsche left the factory with an aircooled engine, it’s more than welcome at Pre79 on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2026 at Carney Pools, Staffordshire, ST18 0XE.
We have food traders, a licensed bar and plenty of aircooled traders with live music on Saturday evening and throughout the day on Sunday.
Saturday:
Saturday is a relaxed afternoon of aircooled traders, live music, food traders an a licensed bar from 1pm.
Entry on Saturday with a weekend ticket which includes camping at Carney Pools camp site. Tickets must be bought in advance, no weekend tickets available on the gate.
Sunday:
The main show day is Sunday. Gates open at 10am and the show runs till around 4pm. Day tickets available on the gate or in advance.
After the success of last years show we are keeping the same format with:
- A large display of cars in categorised lineups – There will be limited spaces for cars in lineups including: Cal Look, Old Speed, Porsche, Air Ride, OG Paint, 40s & 50s Vintage, Back to ’89 and Type 3.
- There will also will be an aircooled vehicle car park for all other aircooled not in one of the lineups, making a huge show and shine.
- Trophies from our show sponsors awarded on the day.
- Technical workshops from Graham at Aircooled Academy.
- Interviews / Q&A sessions with well known names and experts in the VW scene as well as the people behind show winning and interesting cars.
- Throughout the day there is live music and entertainment for kids.
- Lots of popular aircooled parts and merchandise suppliers.
- The sought-after aircooled only autojumble.
- Aircooled Volkswagen and Porsche club displays.
- Food traders.
