James and Sarah, a husband-and-wife duo with a lifelong love for campervans.

Our journey began in 2010 when we bought our very own Type 2 Brazilian Bay Camper and set off on countless adventures. Two years later, we found ourselves searching for a stylish, more comfortable alternative to the standard grey nylon awning—but it simply didn’t exist. Never ones to back down from a challenge, we decided to create our own! As we travelled to campsites and festivals, fellow campervanners fell in love with our glamorous bell-tent driveaway awning and wanted one for themselves. So, in 2013, Glawning was born!

Our innovative ‘glawning’ quickly became a must-have for campervanners across the UK and beyond. Since going full-time with Glawning Ltd in 2016, we’ve expanded our product range (and our family—hello, daughter!). We’ve also built an incredible community of Glawning owners and even launched our very own annual festival, Glampfest.
